Tap into a large pool of talent from 9 of the most prestigious liberal arts colleges in the country. All of our member schools are in the top 25 Best National Liberal Arts Colleges in U.S. News and World Report.
Our interview events bring these top quality students to central locations where employers can interview numerous candidates in a controlled environment.
The Selective Liberal Arts Consortium (SLAC) is comprised of 8 highly selective colleges that connect leading employers with top-notch undergraduate candidates for entry-level positions and internships. Since 1987, we have helped employers recruit students with diverse backgrounds, knowledge, and skills in a manner that is efficient and cost-effective.
We offer four recruiting events: two Video Interview Days and two city-based Recruiting Days in New York and Washington, D.C. The events are timed to fit typical recruiting calendars, and each event provides face-to-face interviews with talented, well-rounded candidates, all in one day and at one central location.
To get started, participating employers advertise positions through our online recruiting system, then review students’ application materials online to pre-select the applicants they wish to interview. We handle all promotion, scheduling, and logistical support for both on-site and virtual events.
Video Interview Days create new opportunities to connect for jobs and internships
The Consortium holds Video Interview Days for employers with recruiting needs in the fall or spring semesters. These events are ideal for employers seeking seniors for entry-level jobs, or seeking juniors for internships. Each event features a day of preselected interviews by Go-to-Meeting or other online service.
We arrange for each student to interview through the Career Center of the college they are attending. Video Interview Days enable both employers and students to connect online while saving time and money in the process.
Recruiting Days in New York and Washington, D.C.
Our city-based Recruiting Days in New York and Washington, D.C. take place in January. They open with a morning Career Fair, which allows employers an additional opportunity to chat with students, answer questions about their organization, and generate additional interest in potential candidates. The afternoon of the Recruiting Days highlights pre-selected face-to-face interviews.
